Pre-Grade gives our best estimate from your photos. It's not a grade and no grade is guaranteed. Only grading companies like PSA, BGS, CGC and SGC can grade your card.

Show us the flaws. A grader will find them anyway.

Before you start

  1. Take the card out of the sleeve and toploader. Plastic adds glare and hides scratches.
  2. Plain, dark, non-shiny background (a black t-shirt or mousepad). Use a light background for black-bordered cards.
  3. Soft, even light: near a window in daylight or under a ceiling light, not direct sun. Flash off.
  4. Use the main (1x) or 2x lens from about a foot away, not the 0.5x wide lens.
  5. Wipe the lens.
